Shot entirely in first person perspective, Re-Searched is a madcap docu-comedy about two lowly writers who sneak onto an exclusive scientific research vessel headed for Antarctica. Having already created and sold an exhaustively researched scripted drama series about Antarctica to HBO for Emmy-winners James Gandolfini and Tim Van Patten to make, but having never actually been there, the two scribes must find a way to voyage to to the bottom of Earth on the network’s dime, prove to Gandolfini that that all of their research is accurate, and survive to tell the tale.
